Thin 14k Floral Wedding Band - Art Deco Yellow Gold Orange Blossom Engraved Ring - Vintage Stacking Style - Size 7.5 - Circa 1940

This Vintage 14k Gold Wedding Band is gorgeous! The circa 1940's Art Deco yellow gold wedding band has a floral orange blossom design that goes all the way around spaced between ribbed sections. The ring measures approximately 2.1 mm wide and has a rise of approximately 1.2 mm. It is marked on the inside 4k (the 1 is missing) and tests for 14k gold (not plated or filled). This classic and romantic wedding ring is in very good vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. It would also make a lovely stacking ring!

Throughout history orange blossom flowers have been a symbol of purity, innocence and chastity. In ancient times since orange blossom flowers were associated with these qualities they came to be associated with brides. During the Victorian era, orange blossom flowers also came to symbolize fertility and the flowers were often depicted in bridal jewelry.
