Vintage 10k Yellow Gold Floral Micro Mosaic Pin Pendant Victorian / Antique Goldstone Glass Pin

This Vintage Gold Floral Pin Pendant is magnificent! The antique piece dates back to the mid 1850's. It is most likely from Italy where jewelry pieces were purchased as souvenirs by tourists on their "grand tour." This beautiful pin is 10k yellow gold and has a magnificent curving shape reminiscent of tree branches. The surround has engraved details on the top and sides. In the center is an oval bezel set goldstone glass with a micro mosaic in the center. The micro mosaic is of flowers and leaves in yellow, blue, pink, white and green. The pin and closure are in working order and close securely. It appears that the lock mechanism was replaced at some point. There is also a hook on the back of the pin that would have been used to hang a ladies watch or could now be used to hang this gorgeous piece from a chain, making it a pendant. Although the pin is not marked it tests for 10k gold. This pin is very well made and very special indeed. This pin is gorgeous and special in its rarity. The goldstone shimmers and the overall look is impressive. It is in nice vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. This lovely pin will enhance any collection with its unique style and beauty!
