Vintage 14k Engagement Ring, Clear Spinel Ring, White Gold Imitation Diamond Ring with Baguettes, Travel Ring

This Vintage 14k White Gold Clear Spinel Engagement Ring is fabulous! The center stone is beautiful and the baguettes on the sides give the traditional 14k white gold mounting timeless style. The center stone is large, measuring approximately 8 mm which would equate to about a 2.0 carat diamond. The pictures do not do this ring justice! The baguettes each measure approximately 6 mm x 2.75 mm (at the widest point) which would equate to about a .15 carat diamond. All of the stones test for white (or clear) spinel. The rise of the ring is approximately 8.75 mm. The ring is marked and tests for 14k gold (not plated or filled). It is in nice vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. Rings of this style were made to be worn in lieu of the real thing when people traveled so there would be no concern over losing their pricier treasure. The look is authentic because this setting could actually be used to hold diamonds of these sizes. This is not an inexpensive look-alike as is more commonly seen with more modern imitations. Whether wearing this for travel or as an everyday engagement ring it is lovely and sparkles on the hand!
