Vintage 14k Gold Amethyst Diamond Teardrop Stud Earrings

These Vintage 14k Amethyst Stud Earrings are lovely! They each feature a natural amethyst in a faceted teardrop shape with beautiful deep purple color (the studio lights give the photos a slightly blue cast but they are more of a true purple). The amethyst is accented with a full cut natural diamond that adds sparkle. The amethysts measure approximately 5 x 8 mm. The diamonds weigh approximately .015 carats each. The earrings are marked 14k and tests for 14k gold (not plated or filled) and they have brand new 14k gold ear nuts. The earrings are in nice vintage condition and are ready to be worn and enjoyed. This is a classic style and would be perfect for someone with a February birthday, for anyone who loves purple or as a special gift. Some believe that amethyst can bring the wearer calmness, inner peace and may heighten natural intuition. It is also said to be a stone of protection. We think these are perfect for everyday wear!
