These Vintage 14k Cameo Earrings are gorgeous! Each earring features a beautiful 14k yellow gold surround that showcases a bezel set oval shell cameo accented with a twisted gold design. The cameo ladies are very pretty with lovely details including beautiful hair and crescent moon crowns. The Goddess Diana (her Roman name) or Artemis (her Greek name) was known as the Lady of Wild Things and was associated with animals and nature. Diana, is also known as Goddess of the Hunt. She can be identified by the crescent moon crown she wears in her hair and was often depicted in Art Nouveau era art. The earrings are marked 14kt on their backs. These earrings are in nice vintage condition and are ready to be worn and enjoyed. Very pretty and feminine! These are lovely earrings that will become favorites!
