This Vintage 14k Purple Sapphire Ring is glamorous! The gold ring has classic style with a fabulous long marquise or navette cut synthetic (lab created) sapphire stone with beautiful purple color. The purple color of the sapphire is reminiscent of amethyst (February's birthstone) and the stone measures approximately 13 x 39 mm. The yellow gold setting has a lovely open work design with ten gold strips that run up each side that create the prongs. The color, size and design of this ring make a statement and it will liven up any outfit you wear. The band is marked but we cannot decipher the markings. The setting tests for 14k gold. The rise of the ring is approximately 8.5 mm. This ring is in good vintage condition is ready to be worn and enjoyed. A bold and modern statement style!
