This Vintage 14k Gold Pearl Necklace is beautiful! It's fashioned from a circa 1960's Carl-Art floral pin with lovely details and has been converted into a pendant with the addition of two loops and a 14k gold chain. The original pin is still intact and the chain could easily be removed by any jeweler if desired. The design is quite lovely with two gold leaves and seven salt water cultured pearls creating a floral spray style design. The pearls measure approximately 3.5 mm. A very beautiful piece and a nice way to wear and incorporate a beautiful vintage item into your wardrobe. The chain is new and measures approximately 18" in length. The pendant measures approximately 44.5 mm east to west and 24 mm north to south. This necklace has a very feminine, elegant and romantic vintage look! It can be worn for casual or dressy occasions. It would make a wonderful "something old" for a bride. Add it to your collection or give it as a lovely gift to a special someone!
The Carl-Art company was owned by Carl Schraysshuen and Arthur Loercher and was founded in 1936 in Providence, RI. The Carl Art hallmark is CA with an arrow through the center. The jewelry has timeless design.
