This Vintage Yellow Sapphire Ring is magnificent! It's in 14k yellow gold and showcases a beautiful fancy cut flower or star shaped synthetic yellow sapphire stone. The stone has magnificent color and measures approximately 12 mm. The lovely setting is simple and sets the stone off perfectly. The rise of the ring is approximately 7 mm. The ring is marked 14k on the inside of the band and tests for solid 14k gold. There is also a maker's mark B & F for Baden & Foss a company in New York-that manufactured fine jewelry in the 1940's and 1950's. This ring is in good vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. This is a very beautiful vintage ring and the stone has lovely color (the color of the November birthstone)! This ring would be great for everyday wear or for special occasions. It's a lovely piece!
