Vintage 14k White Gold Diamond Solitaire Ring - .25 Carat, Size 8

This Vintage Diamond Engagement Ring is sweet! It is circa 1940 and has simple yet elegant style. The ring is white gold and features a solitaire natural diamond. The diamond is a round brilliant cut weighing approximately .25 carats, I color, SI1-SI2 clarity. The diamond is held in a square box type mounting with fancy prongs and the band has polished shoulders and a knife edge shank. The diamond in this ring really sparkles and the fancy shaped prongs add pizzazz! The ring has an engraving that shows signs of wear that says, "Grandma to Marie". It is marked and tests for 14k gold. This vintage ring is in good vintage condition with signs of normal wear and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. It could be worn as an engagement ring, pre-engagement ring, promise ring or a right hand ring. It is very lovely!
