This Vintage Gold Star Ruby ring is wonderful! The heavy gold ring features a very beautiful lab created star ruby with diamond accents. The star is gorgeous under the light. The cabachon stone measures approximately 8.9 mm x 4.2 mm deep and has nice red color. The stone is held in a classic gypsy setting with a round brilliant natural diamond on either side. Each diamond weighs approximately .10 carats. The rise is approximately 9 mm. The setting is marked and tests for 14k gold (not gold filled or plated). Star Rubies display a sharp six-rayed star which dances across the surface of the stone. The star is best viewed when the ruby is under a single light source such as the sun or a spotlight as in several of the photos. This ring would be a wonderful pinky ring for a man or can also be worn by a woman. The ring has great character and beauty. It would make a lovely addition to your collection or give it as a wonderful gift to be treasured!
