Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Cameo Locket Pendant Necklace - Oval Picture Locket - 15"

This Vintage 14k Gold Locket is lovely! The locket features a cameo depicting a woman in profile and interestingly she faces left which is unusual and collectible. The locket opens to the right which is also a bit unusual. The cameo is held in place with many prongs and has a twisted gold base and open back. The bottom of the locket has a filigree style and solid back. The top opens to reveal space for a photo inside of the locket. This a well made and quality locket. The back of the locket is plain and is marked 14k (and the locket tests for 14k gold, not gold filled or plated). It measures approximately 19 mm east to west at the widest point and 28 mm north to south including the hanging loop x 10 mm in thickness at the center (measuring the outside). The locket hangs on a vintage 14k gold chain that measures 15" in length making the necklace choker length. This necklace is in good vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. This sweet locket pendant necklace would be wonderful for a mom, grandmother, daughter, sweetheart or anyone who wants to have something to remember a loved one by. The vintage design with a cameo is lovely!
