This Vintage 14k Amethyst Ring has clean, elegant lines for a classic look. The setting is 14k yellow gold and showcases a medium tone amethyst stone. The setting has wonderful Art Deco style at the shoulders. The amethyst measures approximately 7.2 x 9.8 x 5.85 mm or approximately 2.2 carats by measurement. The ring is circa the 1930's and under magnification some scratches and abrasions are visible on the stone commensurate with wear. However, this would not be noticeable when the ring is worn. The sweet setting is marked 14 and tests for 14k gold. This ring has wonderful style. Amethyst is the February birthstone. This ring is in good vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. A beautiful statement ring that can be worn as a pinky ring or right hand ring!
