Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Opal Sapphire Floral Cluster Ring - Size 6.5

This Vintage Opal and Sapphire Ring is gorgeous! The 14k yellow gold ring features eight natural opals with gorgeous color in predominantly shades of blue, green and pink. The oval opals measure approximately 6 x 4 mm. All of the opals are prong set in an elegant yellow gold setting. The opals vary in height adding dimension and giving them a look of flower petals. At the center of the ring are seven natural deep blue sapphires that compliment the opals beautifully. The sapphires measure approximately 2.5 to 3 mm. The ring is marked 14k and tests for 14k gold (not plated or filled). This circa 1960's ring is in nice vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. This ring catches the eye and is a real showstopper!

In Roman times opals were, after emeralds, the most valued gem. In the Victorian Era opals were thought to symbolize hope and love.
