Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Oval Natural Purple Amethyst Ring, February Birthstone Size 7.75

This Vintage 14k Gold Amethyst Ring is fabulous! The ring holds one prong set genuine amethyst in a faceted oval shape. The purple color is very nice. The inside of the ring is marked 14k and the setting tests for 14k gold. This is a lovely vintage setting with a double circle of gold on the top and swirls of gold and openwork at the shoulders and sides. The stone measures approximately 10 x 12 mm and the ring has a rise of approximately 7.5 mm. The stone is deep and has a chip at the bottom "v" but this is not noticeable when the ring is worn. This ring is in good vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. The vibrant purple stone and gold setting are perfect together!
