Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Round Amethyst Ring - Purple Stone Ring - Size 6

This Vintage 14k Purple Amethyst Ring is gorgeous! The yellow gold ring has classic style featuring a fabulous round faceted natural amethyst stone with beautiful purple color. The stone measures approximately 11 mm. The top most portion of the ring that holds the stone seems to have been from another piece originally, possibly an earring circa the 1950's, and has been skillfully joined to a plain yellow gold band marked 14k sideways W ArtCarved, possibly dating to the 1960's. The piece has wonderful style. The color and design of this ring make a statement and it will liven up any outfit you wear. The top and bottom parts of the ring (all of the metal) tests for 14k gold (not plated or filled). The rise of the ring is approximately 8 mm. Amethyst is the birthstone for February but any purple lover will like this ring. The photos don't do this ring justice. It is in nice vintage condition is ready to be worn and enjoyed!
