Vintage 18k Gold Minerva Pendant: Italian Roman Goddess Charm

This Vintage Large 18k Gold Roman Goddess Charm is magnificent! The charm is especially nice with a wonderfully detailed woman's face with an ornate helmet. We believe this is the goddess of wisdom who has also been associated with war, known as Minerva (Roman) or Athena (Greek). The charm features a round medal that is set into a hexagon shaped frame with thin lines as decoration. The piece measures approximately 1 3/16" east to west x 1 5/16" north to south including the hanging loop. The round piece is marked 750 for 18k and has Italian hallmarks on the back and the frame is marked 750 for 18k gold on the bale. The piece tests for 18k gold (not plated or gold filled). This is in good vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. The charm/pendant would look wonderful on the chain of your choice. A truly fabulous piece!
