This Vintage 18k White Gold Sapphire Filigree Ring is beautiful! The solid gold ring features three round natural diamonds in a row with one calibre cut blue sapphire set between each diamond. The diamonds weigh approximately .10 carats each, I color, VS2-SI1 clarity. It appears that two of the diamonds are replacements and not original to the ring (two are round brilliant cut and one is a transitional Old European cut). There is approximately 1/3 carat of diamonds in total. The sapphires, which appear to be original to the 1930's ring, are lab created which was not uncommon during the Art Deco period when the ring was made and under magnification show minor surface abrasions that would not be seen when the ring is worn. The setting of this ring is lovely with a wonderful geometric shape on the top and filigree swirls and floral detail below. The ring has nice style. The setting is marked 18k and tests for 18k gold (solid gold, not filled or plated). The ring is circa 1930 and is in nice vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. This setting is beautiful and feminine and the stones are so pretty!
