This Vintage 18k Gold Pearl Necklace is lovely! The chain is in 18k yellow gold with a box design that allows the pearl to take center stage. The white cultured pearl has been drilled and slides along the chain. It has good luster and sheen. The pearl measures approximately 7.5 mm. The chain is marked 18k and has Italian hallmarks (and tests for 18k gold, not gold filled or plated). The chain was skillfully repaired at some point in the past as noted by a small section that is solid rather than having the box design. This is not noticeable when the necklace is worn and was taken into account in pricing. This simple design is classic and feminine. This lovely necklace has a timeless design. Simple and elegant, it could be worn for formal or casual occasions. It would be perfect for a bride. It is in vintage condition and would make a lovely gift or treat for yourself!
