This Vintage 14k Gold Amethyst Ring is elegant! The ring is Art Deco in style and it has beautiful filigree with flowing lines! The white gold setting holds one bezel set light purple amethyst in a long cut cornered rectangle shape. It has a beautiful soft purple color. The ring is unmarked. We believe this to be a remake that was made around the 1960's in the Art Deco style. We have had the shank (lower portion of the ring) replaced and the setting is 14k gold (solid gold, not filled or plated). The ring is in good vintage condition and ready to be worn and enjoyed.
Amethyst is the birthstone for February. Some believe that amethyst can bring you calmness, inner peace and may heighten the wearer's natural intuition. It is also said to be a stone of protection. If you or a friend have a February birthday, love the color purple or love romantic filigree, this ring is for you!
