This Vintage Art Deco Sapphire Necklace is stunning! The lariat style necklace showcases an intricate filigree pendant with a fancy diamond shaped lab created cabachon blue sapphire at the center and one single cut sparkling natural diamond above it weighing approximately .03 carats. The setting has a beautiful shape and fabulous detail with filigree open work designs all the way around. There are also small pearls that adorn the necklace and a paperclip style chain making it even more special. The drop section measures approximately 46 mm north to south x 18 mm east to west. The necklace measures approximately 16.25" in length. The lock is marked 14k and the pendant is marked Esemco 14k and plat. There is platinum on top of the filigree work. Esemco was a mark used by Shiman Jewelry Manufacturing. They began operations in 1906 in Newark, NJ and were in business until 1988. These Art Deco necklaces with such lovely details are harder and harder to find. This necklace is in nice vintage condition and is ready to be worn and enjoyed. It's a fantastic piece that can be worn for both casual and dressy occasions. A real beauty!
