This Vintage 14k White Gold Filigree Natural Diamond Bracelet is fabulous! The bracelet is Art Deco circa the 1920's. This one is especially nice as it's very well made and features old cut diamonds that go almost all the way around rather than just on the top. It's very elegant. The largest diamond is an old mine cut that has an ovalish shape. The other diamonds are older mixed cuts and single cut. Two round diamonds set in diamond shapes flank the center with another diamond in a triangle shape on either side. The diamonds continue with five on one side and six on the other in raised collett or bezel settings. The filigree and symmetry typify the Art Deco style. The diamond at the center weighs approximately .15 - .20 carats, K color, SI2 and the remaining fifteen diamonds weigh approximately .02 - .03 carats each. The total diamond weight is approximately 1/2 carat. The bracelet measures approximately 1/2 wide at the center north to south. The filigree work is beautiful with curves and straight lines and small flowers in the center of the panel that doesn't hold a stone and at the lock. The hidden clasp is in good working order. The lock has an unusual design, the extended piece is pushed in and clicked into place and then a hinged top with a tongue closes over the top to secure it. There is also a safety chain. The bracelet is marked 14k and tests for 14k gold (not filled or plated). This is a lovely piece! With its feminine and romantic Art Deco style it would look beautiful on a bride or will make any occasion extra special!
