Vintage Gorham Sterling Silver Hindostanee Salad Spoon No Monogram Large Sterling Brite Cut Serving Spoon 1878

This Vintage Gorham Sterling Silver Salad Serving Spoon in the Hindostanee pattern is lovely! This pattern was introduced in 1878 and was since discontinued. This beautiful piece has a light gilt washed oval shaped bowl with a brite-cut floral pattern and a scalloped, fluted base. The handle has an intricate scroll pattern on the front. The spoon has not been monogrammed. It in nice vintage condition with some scratches and normal signs of use (see photos). The spoon is marked with Gorham's hallmark, Sterling, and 'Pat. 78.' on the back. Originally sold as a salad spoon this spoon could be used to serve many dishes and will elevate your dining experience! A lovely gift idea too!
