This Vintage 18k Gold Anchor Pendant is lovely! The detail is nicely done with a gold rope wrapped around the three dimensional pendant. The anchor is believed by some to be a symbol of luck and hope. The anchor represents the safe end of a long journey and marks the beginning of a new voyage and life adventure. This charm is well made and measures approximately 1 5/8" in length including the attached loop x 15/16" east to west at the widest point. The pendant is marked with Italian hallmarks, 750 (for 18k gold) and the loop and pendant test for 18k gold (not plated or gold filled). It is semi-solid meaning heavier than a standard hollow charm would be but not fully solid. This pendant is in nice vintage condition and can be worn by a man or a woman. It would be wonderful hung on a chain by itself or with other meaningful charms. This is a very special piece!
